FAQs

  • How are Monthly Active Users (MAU) calculated?

    Monthly Active Users are counted as the number of unique users who have initiated chats and sent/received messages in a given month. It doesn’t matter how long they stay logged in, or how many messages they sent/received.

    How do I know which plan is right for me?

    Our Standard plan is designed for startups and small- production apps looking for a predictable, low price but with more features and cannot accept downtime for exceeding plan limits. On exceeding your plan MAUs in any month you have to pay only for the increased MAUs, allowing you to scale with demand.

    Our Enterprise plan is designed for large-scale businesses that need a self-hosted database and unlimited usage.

  • Can I upgrade, downgrade, or suspend at any time?

    Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or suspend your Channelize subscription at any time. Note that if you downgrade or cancel before the end of your billing period, you will not get refunds for downgrades or cancellations. But if you upgrade to a higher plan before the end of your billing period, your billing cycle will get updated from that date itself, and you will get refunds for the number of days left in the billing cycle of your old plan.

    One-time fee for Premium Services and Feature Add-ons wouldn’t be refunded.

    What happens if I exceed my existing plan usage limits?

    You’ll get alerts via email on 85%, 90% & 95% of maximum resource utilization. When you exceed plan limit in any billing month, your Channelize services will not be turned off, and additional charges for extra resource usage will be charged to you at the end of that month.
