  • How are Monthly Active Users calculated?

    Monthly Active Users are counted as the number of unique users who have initiated chats and sent/received messages in a given month. It doesn’t matter how long they stay logged in, or how many messages they sent/received.

    How do I know which plan is right for me?

    Our Web only plan is great for those who want to integrate Channelize only with their Websites.

    Web + Mobile Apps plan is best for those who have Website as well as Mobile Apps. Channelize works with both iOS and Android apps. This plan enables your users to interact with each other irrespective of platform they are using.

    Both Web and Web+Mobile Apps plans are designed for early-stage startups. Exceeding your plan resources in any billing month will cause your Channelize services to be shut off for the remainder of that month or till you upgrade to the Higher (Custom) plan. If you’re a medium or large sized businesses and cannot accept downtime for exceeding plan limits, then you should opt for the Custom Plan.

  • Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time?

    Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Channelize subscription at any time. Note that if you downgrade or cancel before the end of your billing period, you will not get refunds for downgrades or cancellations. But if you upgrade to a higher plan before the end of your billing period, your billing cycle will get updated from that date itself, and you will get refunds for the number of days left in billing cycle of your old plan.

    One-time setup fee will not be refunded. If you upgrade from Web only plan to Web+Mobile plan then you need to pay $200 ($399-$199) one-time setup fee.

    What happens if I exceed my existing plan usage limits?

    You’ll get alerts via email on 85%, 90% & 95% of maximum resource utilisation. The resources available to you in the Web and Web+Mobile Apps plans are capped. This means that when you exceed plan limit in any billing month, your Channelize services will be turned off for the remainder of that month or till you upgrade to the Higher (Custom) plan.

    In Custom plan also, you’ll get alerts via email on utilization of 85%, 90% & 95% of maximum resource allotted to you. But, when you exceed plan limit in any billing month, your Channelize services will not be turned off, and additional charges for extra resource usage will charged to you in the end of that month.
